Deafening Street
What you will hear from the band name Deafening Street, a quote from a poetry work of Charles Baudelaire(「A une Passante」), are at first, a precondition for modern life, and then a variety of relationships in it. What you will hear from their music, noted for the anthemic and textural sound with an emphasis on the verses, are at first, a thorough study of the greatest rock musics like U2, and then one of the most original potentialities of our time. Formed in 2005, they are now playing live in clubs in and around Seoul(Korea).
데프닝스트리트(Deafening Street)는 '유투(U2)'의 음악적 특징을 기반으로 한 락밴드로서, 깊이 있는 가사와 스케일 큰 사운드를 표방합니다. 밴드명은 프랑스 시인 '샤를 보들레르(Charles Baudelaire)'의 명시(名詩) '지나가는 여인에게'의 첫 구절을 영역(英譯)한 것으로, 현대적 삶의 조건과 여기서 나타나는 다양한 관계들을 뜻합니다. 2005년에 결성되어, 현재 클럽공연 및 녹음활동을 병행하고 있습니다.
